📡 Live feeds
Countdowns, weather, storms, overhead, quakes, aurora, launches, moon, globe, volcanoes and fires.
Live feeds bring the outside world onto your lights. Tap LIVE, then a big key to put that feed on the wall. Tap it again, or ♫ Back to music under the wall, to go back to the music show.

Set your location once
Weather, storm watch, overhead, quakes, launches, fires and sun times need to know where you are. In LIVE → Live feeds, type a ZIP code or City, State and tap Save. GlowBop shows the place it found underneath.
Tap a feed key again to turn it off. Every new feed has a preview button, so you can see what it looks like before the real thing happens.
🎉 Countdown
- Pick a ready-made countdown: New Year's, Christmas, Halloween or the 4th of July. They always point at the next one.
- Or add your own: a name, a date and time, and a finale message like HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
- Choose a color. The wall shows days, then hours, minutes and seconds. The last minute is giant pulsing seconds, then fireworks and your message.
- Preview the finale shows the ending right now, so you know what to expect.
🌦️ Weather
A big temperature over an animated pixel sky: sun and rays, clouds, rain, thunderstorms, snow, fog, and the moon and stars at night. It flips between Now, Today (high and low) and Next hours. Pick °F, °C or Auto. It checks for new weather every 10 minutes.
🌀 Storm watch
Storm watch is different: it runs quietly on top of the music show, and only if you turn it on. When the National Weather Service puts out a new warning, watch or advisory for your spot, the wall flashes and the alert name scrolls by. A warning keeps a thin red edge glowing until it ends. During hurricane season it also lists named storms and how far away they are.
- Test alert shows what an alert looks like. While it's on the wall the key turns into Stop the alert, and ♫ Back to music under the wall clears it too.
🌍 Storm warnings worldwide
Outside the US, Storm watch worldwide on the LIVE page picks a source for your country: GDACS tropical cyclones and floods everywhere, MeteoAlarm official warnings in 38 European countries, or any national CAP alert feed you paste in.
✈️ Overhead now
A radar of the planes flying over your house right now, with their direction, plus the International Space Station when it comes by. Choose how far out to look. When the space station is as close as it gets, the wall celebrates. Wave hi! 👋
🌍 Earthquakes
Recent earthquakes drop onto a world map or a spinning globe with a ripple, the biggest first, with how far away they are. Pick the smallest size to show (2.5, 4.5 or 6). Turn on Alert over music and a big one flashes over the music show too.
🌌 Aurora
Slow aurora curtains that follow the live space weather: the higher the Kp index (0 to 9), the taller, brighter and more colourful they get. A solar flare sends a soft gold flash. GlowBop also tells you roughly what Kp it takes to see the aurora from where you live.
🚀 Rocket launches
The next rocket launches around the world, with a countdown on the wall and liftoff when it goes. Turn on Alert over music for a liftoff flash over the show.
🌕 Moon & sun
Tonight's moon phase, how full it is and the next full moon, plus sunrise, sunset and golden hour for your spot. Worked out on your computer, no internet needed.
🌐 Globe
The Earth spinning on your wall, day and night, with the day's quakes, storms, volcanoes, fires and launches marked on it. Let it spin, or keep your home in view.
🌋 Volcanoes
Volcanoes with an alert right now, with an eruption on the wall and how far away they are.
🔥 Wildfires
Big wildfires near you, and with your own free NASA FIRMS key the hotspots seen from space around you. Get a key at firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov and paste it on the LIVE page. Each customer uses their own key.
